HOT AIR is an inflatable and inhabitable structure created by Anca Trandafirescu, an Assistant Professor in Architecture at the University of Michigan, to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the fall of communism in Timisoara, Romania. It will be mounted in Piata Victoriei, Timisoara, Romania on November 3-7, 2009, within American-Romanian Festival.

In the same week inside the HOT AIR, the Romanian Television, Timişoara Branch, will present two documentaries - "Remeber 20 years later". It is about the first and the last films made by the Romanian Television, Timişoara Branch about the Romanian revolution in December 1989. The authors are Diana Trocmaier and Vasile Bogdan.

Nearby, The Interart TRIADE Foundation will develop a contemporary art project intitled LIBERT- A(r)TE.
